SSH login without a password

This tutorial describes how to set up your SSH to allow you to login remotely without supplying your password. I assume that you are sitting on the machine that you want to log in from.

Let there be light

ssh-keygen -t dsa

and just push enter to whatever the question might be. Default is our friend. After that we need to do some copying

cd .ssh
cp authorized_keys

and that's it! OK not entirely true. It is true if you have your home directory NFS mounted on the machine your logging in to. If not you have to make sure to copy the authorized_keys to the $HOME/.ssh directory on the machine to which you wish to log in to.
