Make the directory icon clickable in the Files and directories view

Description

When the icon is clicked, the same thing should happen as if the user had clicked the same directory in the directory tree. Eg. the directory tree should expand and the right-hand side should list subdirectories and files.

This ticket replaces #1398.

(In [5158]) Fixes #1413: Make the directory icon clickable in the Files and directories view

Also included the fix for #1415 in the trunk. This was needed to be able to test the click function in IE.
