Description
The MeV extension can be improved to utilize the support of storing files in the analysis tree.
Relates to http://base.thep.lu.se/ticket/1029 and http://base.thep.lu.se/attachment/ticket/1029/files_in_analysis-0.1.txt
When someone decides to work on this ticket a few things need to be addressed:
- Split this ticket into several tickets.
- Write a specification of what is done be done.
- Generate sample MeV files.
At least one each (expression data) for GenePix, Affymetrix, and CGH data. Illumina WG and SNP?
- Check if there is a module for reading MeV files readily at hand in the MeV project.
- For MeV we need to setup a MeV plug-in in parallel to the MeV extension. The extension makes it possible to add a MeV button to BASE whereas the plug-in is needed to ...
