Made documentation generation optional, issue 'make doc' for docs generation.

[2]25If you checked out this project from the CVS repository you must run
[10]26'./bootstrap' followed by './configure'. This will create necessary
[2]27support files such as Makefile's.

29Issue 'make' to compile the project.

[573]31Optionally you can do 'make check' to run test programs. 'make doc'

34'make install' will install the package into your system. Default
35installation location is /usr/local, this can be changed with
36./configure --prefix=/dir/to/install/to.
