25If you checked out this project from the CVS repository you must run
26'./bootstrap' followed by './configure'. This will create necessary
27support files such as Makefile's.

29Issue 'make' to compile the project.

31Optionally you can do 'make check' to run test programs. 'make doc'
32will generate documentation.

34'make install' will install the package into your system. Default
35installation location is /usr/local, this can be changed with
36./configure --prefix=/dir/to/install/to.
