Welcome to the theplu yat development site
This is the development site for the yat C++ class library.
Package highlights:
- Gnu Scientific Library, GSL connectivity - The internal implementation of the package is designed to use GSL.
- Supervised classifier classes including support vector machines.
- Statistics classes.
- Random number generation.
We have trac usages guidelines for new developers and other users who need to understand how we use trac.
Latest Release
yat 0.3.1 is now available. Please see the NEWS file for what is new in this version.
Documentation
- Doxygen generated documentation for yat-0.3.1 and the trunk version (updated nightly) are available.
- There is a page about CodingStyle? used in the yat project.

Requirements
To use yat, the following software packages must be installed:
- Gnu Scientific Library version >= 1.6
- A standard C++ compliant compiler.
Optional packages:
- A CBLAS library in replacement for the GSL reference implementation. ATLAS provides a Fortran and C, hardware specific, BLAS libary. (Mac OS X 10.4.10 comes preinstalled with a ATLAS/manually tuned C BLAS.)

The yat library is an open source project and available for free under the GNU General Public License version.
